Sending Fax Via Intuity Message Manager

Whenever one of my users tries to send a word document fax via Intuity Message Manager the fax comes out on the other end somewhat garbled (some sentences are overlapping each other, making the characters unreadable). Does anyone know how to solve this. This problem is happening with more than one user. Thanks.
