sending external email from 2nd exchange server

Just added a 2nd exchange server to our network, and internally everything is working fine. But when I try to send to external mails from the new 2nd server I get a 5.7.1 NDR saying unable to relay for abc@domain.com. External emails from the original server work fine. Ive looked at the KB article for troubleshooting 5.7.1 NDR's but that didnt help.
