I am trying to send out a mailer via email reminding of an event. I wanted to email an image with the announcement within it. However, I do not want the recipient to download it i want it to be immediately visible within the body of the email and be able to print. I use microsoft outlook and have tried to place the image in both the signature and the stationery options, but it does not work once it has been sent out to an email. instead, it appears as an image box with the red cross in it. Pls help, what shoudl i do???

If you are using Outlook...

click in the email body
go to INSERT>PICTURE>From file
then select the image you wish to insert.

image file should be a jpeg, gif or bmp formats.

if you are sending in Plain text then this could happen.
Try format as Rich text and should work.
