Sending email with Access 2000? 1

I am sending email with access2000 thru outlook2000 which works quite well. I am sending reports using sendobject in a macro. However I do not want to send the report as an attachment but rather in the "message text". I have tried adding fields in the "message text" however access only allows a few characters here.

Would appreciate any ideas since people are often wary of receiving email attachments.

Don't think you can put the report in the text, but I put the info that I wanted to appear in a string and put the string in the body of the text of the code. Not really a report but it at least had info in the body of the email for the user to read.

Thank you for your response. I believe that this is what I have done by adding text and fields into the "message text" of "action arguments" BUT you can only but a few words here. I can live with it but it would sure be nice to have the report text appear IN the message of an email!

I am using Access 97 and am trying to send an email though it, but am having trouble with the code. For example, i have various contact details on a form, one of whichis an email address. I want to ba able to click on that email address and it will come up with a blank message with their email address on it - through outlook.

Can either of you help? I know it is the lower veriosn, but sure it cannot be much different.

I want to send a report in the text body of an email just because there are many who don't want to send an attachment as so many people are scared of them!
