Hi All...
Yes, I know this is C#, but I've been all over google, and all over tek-tips, trying to find out the solution to this problem. Can you please check it out?

Thanks...

Ok, Did you try sending yourself an email manually? Basically you create an "email" file that you drop into the

C:\Inetpub\mailroot\Pickup

folder and see if it ends up in the Badmail folder or the Queue folder.

You can also do a test via command line.

As for the ASP.Net part, check out this link

Thanks JurkMonkey,

1 - I did create a file (a notepad file) and put it into the Pickup folder, and it ended up in the Badmail folder. However, I did notice that all the emails I tried to send today were put into the Queue folder. What does this mean?

2 - The command line test started fine, but I couldn't end typing a message. It said to use <CRLF> to end, and it just wouldn't accept anything to stop.

3 - The link you gave me is for ASP, not ASP.NET.

I'm still a bit stuck. Any other suggestions?

Thanks.

JC

Ok - something came up!

I turned my computer on today, and right after I did, I received all the emails I sent yesterday. The date and time on the emails was not yesterday's, though; it was today's (8:49:39 AM - this is the time I turned my computer on). I've been trying ever since to send emails again, but have not gotten nothing. I restarted my machine to no avail.

Any clues what may have happened?

Thanks.

JC

You've proven that your code works. Therefore, you don't need C# help. It sounds like an SMTP/IIS configuration issue. You might try asking a question in one of those forums vs. a programming forum.
