Sending DTMF Tones during Conference Calls

I saw an old post about this, but no official answer.
While on a conference call, the norstar (in this case, just a 6X16dr5, but tried on other KSU's) won't send DTMF Tones. Even trying Feature 808 for long tones says TONES DENIED .
Is There a setting I need to turn on ? (Lets say it's a newer KSU)

The system doesn't know which line to send the tones out on.

dont understand what you are trying to do digital mind

i've done this

Station A and Station B on a call
A conferneces in a external call -> which is going to an AA
A can dial extn of far end system in DTMF

First off you should have one phone call the far end and go through the AA and set up the call, then confrence in the second phone.

It's for a call center .. Basically, they call a 3rd party verifier and need to press the # key to start the recording...

And Senkis, maybe it works for 2 internal calls and 1 external .. but not 2 external and 1 internal like I need to do.

Kinda odd I find ..
