Sending Digital certificatte in code

Hi
I am sending xml data to a server that requires me to present a digital certifiact with the data. I have the digital certificate on my PC but i have no idea where to start on how to send the certificte in vb.net code.I know i can use the post method for user name and passwords etc but how do i send a certificate.
Does any one know where i can start with this?
