Hey There,

Somehow my analog phone wont send its cli with an outgoing call.

The situation ; i have a 412 with 4.x running, and 2 analog trunks, a lot of ip phones and some ananlog phones via the trunks.
Combined with a ISDN 30 (Main number 020-1234500) and 100 Numbers

I've stated into the user tab of the analoge phone the CLI , lets say 020-1234567 but when it cals OUT via the PRI trunk (Isdn30) it doesnt show it , so my capture device doesnt recognise the number and just puts blank in the CLI part.. grrr

When i do exactly the same setup with a ip phone, it works fine... so i think somewhere the trunk is beiing a bit of a bastrd

Is there a way to force the phone to send a cli ?

Thank in advance,

Superguppie

Are they analog trunks or analog stations. Analog trunks you can not control the caller ID. what are they plugged into

Hi Kevin

There are 2 analoge trunks connected to the 412, there both IP400 , the phones connected to the IP400 are just the handyshop dect phones :) and some faxes

you are confusing me. IP400 is the series of white modules all modules are called IP 400
analog trunks, as in analog dial tone fed into the phone system ( any phone system) can not have the caller ID influenced, it is set by the line provider.

I think there is some confusion.

you can't plug phones into IP400 trunks - it just doesn't work. I expect that you actually have IP400 Phone units...

So back to the issue (as I see it) setting outgoing CLI on a PRI

Easy - RTM

in user shortcodes
either
SC - 9N
Feature - Dial
TN - NS020123456
LG - 0

or
SC - ?
Feature - Dial
TN - .S020123456
LG - 0

Things that can and do go wrong
1) sometimes you need to match the number of digits sent fro CLI to the number of digits sent for DNIS
2) Sometimes teh carrier won't let you send any CLI other than the base
3) You can't send a CLI that isn't in the DDI range
4) Some carriers need a i after the S i.e. .Si0203456

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

Hurray !

It worked thnx all !

I used

SC - ?
Feature - Dial
TN - .S20123456
LG - 0

in the user form, and it sends out a cli, wich my recorder can fetch , and make a nice database so i dont have to search every wav file..

It doenst go further then the phonecomp, cause i have a block on showing my outgoing numbers via the phonecomp.

But between the avaya and the phonecomp, it sends the cli, and the recorder understands it!

I first used the 020123456 cli, but the 0 was a small booboo , withouth the 0 it works great
