On a "regular" ISDN phone connected to the ISDN line we can enter *21*number# to change call forwarding. This is a network service from the phone company, not a feature in the phone.

How can I send the same code through an IP Office to the ISDN line?

Have tried:
-Just dialing the code, doesnt work.
-Adding a short code which Dial or Dial Speech on the outgoing group id of the line, doesnt work.
-Using the *#N or **N that exists default in the shortcode list, no luck (The shortcode telephone number states that "I" can used to information packet instead of setup packet).

How can this be achieved?

Did you try something like *21*N# with a feature dial and the telephone number of *21*N# and the line group of the ISDN.

I tried adding *60 shortcode, with feature dial and telephone number *21*number#, with no luck.
This should do the same as stated above?

Are you in the UK?
*21* only workds for analog lines not ISDN

The easiest way is to set the forward unconditional on a phone to divert to the external number, unfortunatly this does tie up a 2nd circuit.

Thats the problem, tieing up the second line is not an option.

The line does support *21*..., according to the service description from the telephone company. (For ISDN).

You will have to use keypad signalling and create a SC for that. This is from the help in Manager:

"K - Use Keypad Field
Place any following digits in the outgoing call's Keypad field rather than the Called Number field. Only supported on ISDN and QSIG

Thanks, will look into this in a day or two.
I did read about the "K" earlier, not sure why I didnt test it.

When you do it, you can create an offline config with Manager and choose locale UK.
You will then get 65 default shortcodes and then take a look on the SC´s *#N and **N.
Because you will also have to use the I character.

try this

In the situation where you need a DS handset to have a single button to open a door etc.

Label your button e.g "Door"
Key type = Emulation > Abbreviated Dial
Action Data = <your number to open door / latch / lock>

Is it just a single ISDN Line? In the UK when this service is enabled on analogue lines, the *21 bit needs to be sent out on the first line of an aux group, if you have LCR enabled the system automatically cycles through the lines in that particular group. I had to set the system up to just have the one line in the outgoing group and then overflow to a second line group to get it to work. This was a few years ago though, and on a small office.

Copy/paste for phone company service description:
"Viderekobling for ISDN (generelt) (5)
*xx*tlf. nr.(*subadresse)(*eget nr.) (*tjeneste) #
"

Unless they are lying, it should work on ISDN too.

This is Norway, not UK.

You have the SC as default that is needed if you are in Norway.
You will have to dial one extra * if I remember it correctly.

From my last post:
"You will then get 65 default shortcodes and then take a look on the SC´s *#N and **N.
