Hi,
I am running Exchange 5.5, the clients are all on Outlook 2000
Now is their anyway i can block them sending messages to all users.
Running at a school we get weekly "spams" sent to every user a recent email sent to 2400 mailboxes took up 8.86gbs on our server and took a good time to resolve
Just wondering if their is some way to resolve this issue?

The only way I ever figured out was to modify each individual "Delivery Options" but that is just ridiculous and I wouldn't do it. I had people sending out 5 MB powerpoint to over 7000 people. You can't really do anything and nothing else be affected. Sorry

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.

Thats a real shame, the SCSI drives arent exactly cheap and if users keep sending rubbish like this out the likelyhood is that their user accounts are going to dissapear!
As i said the recent email took some time to get rid of entirely (and required a shutdown of outlook to all students so we could clear the mess)
Where would the delivery option thing be as i would really like this issue resolved!
Otherwise what other steps could be used?
