Hi,

I'm using Netscape 7 and Win. XP. Whenever I try to send email from my home computer (POP) I will always get the following two message (from 2 different email addresses);

1. Send Message Error. Sending message failed. An error occurred sending mail: Unable to connect to SMTP server.

2. The mail server responded: 4.71. <email@address.here>. Relaying temporarily denied. Cannot resolve PTR record for 202.78.86.169

It's amazing cause I AM able to send out from one of my Netscape emails - But Not from the other one.

The SMTP settings are all ok. Even the guy at my ISP can't figure it out and is fed up already. He suggested that I need to 'reformat' my hard drive but I said screw that! That's not an option.. yet...

If anyone can help me with this email sending problem I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

Whats this question got to do with postfix ?

Yes, you should definitely reformat your hard drive. Do it twice to be sure.
