we have multiple domains in our exchange, as so every user has multiple e-mail addresses. Currently all of them are set with the main address as their default e-mail address.

Is there a way to have a user send e-mails using one of the other e-mail addresses?

(without having someone change his default e-mail address manually or having him input the address in the FROM field)

Thank you,

I have solved this by adding "fake" pop3 accounts that do not receive any mail, but you can use to change the from address.

We would like to give them the ability to change between the two accounts.

What do you mean "Fake" POP server? Are the users still configured as exchange maibox on their outlook?

A15: yes, you configure an extra POP3 server in you "e-mail accounts", with fake (non-working) POP3 server, but working SMTP server settings. Also, disable checking the account in the preferences.

Using a fake account is a great idea, however the user will need to always select the outgoing account, even when repling to a message that came in to the other domain. I tried to do this using a real pop account into the mailbox, but I was getting duplicate messages.
