New to exchange

Need to know how to send a copy of e-mail from exchange 2000 to an internet account. Please help.

I am new new to this and need more step by step info if you could?

Open AD Users and Computers. Right click on any container and choose New\Contact. Enter the contact info, click next, choose "create an exchange email address". Make the alias whatever you want (or just leave it alone) and click the Modify button. Choose SMTP address, and then enter the relevant email address info. click next, and then finish it out. Then, go to the properties of the user account you want mails forwarded from, and choose the Exchange General tab. Go into Delivery Options, and set up the Contact you just created as an alternate recipient by modifying the Forwarding Address section.
I hope this is what you're looking to do...
