Hello,

I'm running Windows 2003 Enterprise Exchange. I have a sales database called sales@mydomain.com; this mail database gets accessed from various users in our sales department. We want to have them send mail as "sales@mydomain.com" rather than "username@mydomain.com".

I granted the "Send As" permission to the group in the Security tab of the sales mail database. I add the sales mailbox to the users outlook 2003. Where do I go from here? There is no "Accounts" optin that appears on the toolbar when creating a new email. I figured this is what I would see since this is what appears w/ multiple mail accounts.

What am I doing wrong?

In the users Outlook client, click New to create a new mail message.

In the new mail message window, click on "View" and then click on the "From" button.

Now your new email message will have a From: box where you can fill in "sales@mydomain.com"
