hi,
I usually select the next cell by moving the box with the cursor keys left, down, whatever... I opened a file today and pressed the cursor keys and the whole screen panned as if I had moved the scroll bars???

I don't know what I did or how I did it!! Any help would be appreciated

Thanks,
aconakc

Perhaps you pressed the Ctrl key at the same time as pressing the arrow key - that could do it.

Cheers

If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel...try clicking it off.

The Scroll Lock key will also do this if switched on

hi again,

And thanks for your replys. And the winner was 'MOLBY'. The scroll lock key was on. I never use it. I had to search for it!.!..

Thanks all
