I've tried everything and searched everywhere for help - I accidentally clicked on something in my formula editor, my toolbar is gone - alt T will not bring it back, right clicking will not bring it back - the only window I'm left with is my functions one - it takes up the whole screen and if I right click on it, it does nothing - doesn't allow me to see or dock or anything. PLEASE HELP - I've spent HOURS on this. Thanks! Oh yeah, we tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it's still there!!! Do we have to clean out the registry after we've uninstalled? There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there on this sort of thing.

Try
View, Toolbars
Is the Standard box checked. It should be.

Try unchecking all the toolbars...close Crystal, reopen Crystal and then check all the toolbars you want back.

The tool bar in the formula editor is not optional, so I don't think any checkmarks will do it for you.

Does the functions window have a bar at the top?
You get a different set of options when you Right click on the bar as opposed to the middle of the functions window. Do you not get ANY options in either place?

Is the functions window the WHOLE window, or is there a separate bar for the formula editor window outside of the functions pane?

Mike,

Alt+T is for regenerating the toolbar when you've closed it. It sounds like what you've actually done is accidentally hidden it.

If you right click in the formula editing window, there should be a Show Toolbar option, which, if clicked, should get you right back on track.

All the best,

Naith

thanks guys, I've done all that. What I ended up having to do is uninstall and then reinstall. However, when I did that, it was still the same so what I had to do is uninstall, delete the files and the registry files and then reinstall. It worked. Thanks very much!
