Select 0 to transfer to admin

System is option61C
voice mail is Octel 200

A manager wants to record a message on his voice mail to select 0 to transfer to his admin.

0 currently transfers to the main switchboard.

Can anyone help with the mechanics of how I can accomplish this. I'm sure he would accept another digit ie..1 or whatever. Still I need to know how to do this...

Look inside his mailbox and see if you have the option to set a target attendant. I know in CP and Mer Mail you can I'm just not sure about the Octel.

look at the revert dn for that box.. each user can change his revert dn.. and 0 is going to dial that dn.. if no revert dn is set, either in the octal screen or by the end user the octel calls the atdn..

to give other options 1 etc, you need a menu service.. not usually done for a single mb... wait for the tone to leave a msg or press 1 for 1234 or 2 for 3455.. do-able per station but i've never recogended it on a per user roll out.. per dept or a single entry point for a customer

In Octel there is a provision for changing the "zero out", but the user cannot make that change themselves

It's nothing in the Nortel
