I used to have a Win2000 Pro computer with one 40G hard disk, which was partitioned into 3 volumns. Now that computer is broken so I put the 40G hard disk into a new Win200 Pro computer as a slave hard disk (H drive). On the new computer, from the disk management, I can see the slave hard disk with full size (40G). However, in the explorer, the H drive has only 25G, which is the size of the active volumn (the boot volumn in the broken computer), and I can see all files inside that volumn. However, I cannot see any data in the other two volumns.
Is that any way I can get all my data from that 40G disk?

thanks in advance.

Your data is still there. I suspect you have an NTFS-FAT32 problem. You didn't specify what the OSs are. Don't despare...your data is still there.

The 40G disk is NTFS format. The master disk on the new computer is also NTFS. The broken computer is Win2000 pro OS, and so is the new one.

Probably problem with MFT (if ntfs file system),try chkdsk from cmd prompt or from recovery console (see options for ntfs ( /v; /i... etc etc). You have more commands to check Your disk. If no results download Easy Recovery and try to save Your data.
