Hi all,

I have got a scenario whereby I need to give remote access to a 3rd party with 24 hr access. I would like to know what is the best way to ensure security eg. I only want them to have access to a specific folder but I cannot use ftp.

Thx in advance.

If you can't use FTP/HTTP acces, you can consider setting up a secure shell connection to your server (this would require that you install an SSH server -- ex) OPENSSH). Couple that with windows security in order to limit them to that particular folder

Tell us how this person is first going to connect to your network, assuming you have one. If this is a stand alone PC let us know that as well.
