Does Access 2002 handle security workgroup command line prompt (/wrkgrp) any different than Access 2000? I've always used the /wrkgrp option and never had a problem deploying the database and the .mdw file onto other networks or machines. However, I just had a client tell me they are now running Access 2002 or AcessXP and when they click on the shortcut it doesnt invoke the security...goes straight to the open database???? Any suggestions

Let’s look at this from a different perspective. Are you positive that your users are starting an A2K2 database with Access XP, or are you sure of the converse, that an A2K database is being opened by A2k. Remember, that clicking on an mdb name will invoke the last version of Access called, not necessarily the correct version.

The only reason I mention this possibility is that the workgroup switch action of the command line does not change.
