Hi
I have just read the Microsoft website and read about two recent critical updates that are required to be downloaded. One is for protecting Windows 2000 and one is for updating security on Internet Explorer.
I am the administrator for a small network which runs Small Business Server 2000. On all client machines we run Windows 2000 Pro. We have the one internet connection which is on our server and then a router distributes it so internet access can be gained on all client machines on the network.
My questions are firstly to run the Windows updated do I have to update each client machine separately or can it be done once on the server? My other question is to update Internet Explorer do I have to do this on each client machine or can it be done only once on the server?
I logically suspect all updates have to be done on each client pc as they all run IE and Windows 2000 each.
Thank you for any help.
