Hello Guys, I wonder if you can help me please.

I have an IPO 4.06 v2 version 1.1(9) and IP Office Manager 6.1 (9). I've had some issues lately where phones have been falling out of their assigned hunt groups. Between last night and this morning, three 5420 phones had all of the huntgroups unchecked. There have also been some other strange things going on. This leads me to believe that I have some funny business going on either with the original installer (who I just replaced) or a former employee.

As far as I knew, the entire unti had default users and passwords since we seem to have been working on fine tuning since we got the thing. I am able to log into the office manager software unsing Administrator/Administrator as the user/pass hbut I want to change the password and this is where things get a bit messy.

I assumerd I would log into security settings going File>Advanced>Security Settings and look there to change the password but doing so gives another user/pass prompt and the Administrator/Administrator pair will not work.

I feel that someone is messing with me and I have no way of getting into the system.

Any ideas please? Thanks in advance.

try security as the user and securitypwd as the password,

i think thats it but it is in the docs somewhere

Thanks very much Tom. Could someone direct me to some literature on default user and passwords please?

you can also look at the audit trail to see who made changes and when.

Start with audit trail as suggested. Also be aware that user can enable/disable hunt group membership without going anywhere near Manager. So check the config for short codes using the Hunt Group Enable/Hunt Group Disable features (or programmable buttons on phones). Also users with Phone Manager Pro can select Agent Mode to then enable/disable hunt group membership.

Guys,

Thaks all of you for the help. I'll follow all of your advice and post back if needed. Cheers.
