I'm attempting to sync my Dash phone wirelessly through activesync. I'm using Form based authentication and SSL on my exchange server. I exported my certificate from my OWA site and installed it on my device - but even after doing that I'm still getting an error telling me that my certificate is invalid. This cert was created on the server. It is not from anywhere like verisign. Can anyone explain why the dash still thinks the cert is invalid even though its installed?

Make sure you look through this:

Exchange ActiveSync and Outlook Mobile Access errors occur when SSL or forms-based authentication is required for Exchange Server 2003

I actually looked through this. I did it all step by step. It didn't do any good. I still can't sync to our server even if I disable Form based authorization and SSL so I don't understand how I'd be able to sync if I created another virtual directory that didn't have SSL or form based authorization enabled.

If you web browse to OWA on the Dash do you get there or do you get an error? This is probably the installation of the cert being session based rather than being installed fully. I've seen this with desktop clients.

It tells me that the certificate is invalid but it allows me to proceed to the OWA login screen. It also allows me to login to OWA.

One additional thing that I am noticing is that when I type in the server address for the OWA site, it chops off the end of the address (/exchange).
