Secondary DNS server zone not working

I setup a secondary DNS server but the primary will not transfer the info. I keep getting a message saying "Zone Not Loaded by DNS Server" " The DNS server encountered a problem while attempting to load the zone. The transfer
of zone data from the master server failed." I've created the zone numerous times I continue to get this error. I set the primary to allow zone transfer to any server. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Ensure you are following the advised steps in setting up your dns servers.

Is the secondary behind any firewalls or ACLs? You must allow port 53 tcp/udp inbound to the secondary. If the primary allows the zone transfer, AND the secondary is configured as a slave AND port 53 is open you should be
able to get a zone transfer.
