Secondary DN not going to voicemail when busy

For some reason a secondary dn on this phone isn't going to voicemail when busy. Instead it's ringing busy.
call forward no answer is working on it, and call forward no answer is working for the prime dn on the phone.

Any ideas?

But they don't want the prime DN to hunt to their personal line...

Because of the TRN Key between them it won't hunt to key 3 it is only for the FNA. Local hunt will only work if the SCR keys are in a row.

03 SCR 7213 is the private line that isn't going to voicemail.

the other DN on the 8 key is a multiple appearance DN, and and it works fine.

Key 8 is MARP'ed (Multiple Appearence Routing Prime) to another TN so that TN controls hunting and forwarding.

I changed the LHK to 3, and now that line goes to voicemail.

And since it has the transfer button inbetween, the call won't be part of the local hunting group.

my switch, for some reason will obey a lhk across a function key? that statement caught my eye so i tested it on my 2616

I remember this question coming up when I was in switch school in Texas and the switch will jump a function key to hunt to an ext. key, if the lhk is set on or above an ext key.

i went to texas to learn a new switch and was blown away by how fast it was, it was 77 or 78, and the switch got faster, i got slower...and your right, i had to test it before i posted

Well, maybe it's the fact that my switch is running rls 23.11. It's old, and probably missing patches.

Anyways, I specifically tested LHK jumping over a function key, and was asking about it in another post of mine. I had to move the second dn key to key 1 to get lhk to work with it.

And I've been using LHK now, over function keys to allow other extensions to go to voicemail, and not have them part of the local hunk in terms of it being used as a hunt key from key 0.

one thing i am sure about, if you don't test it on your switch you may get fooled, strange things, these grey boxes we play with..
