Hey guys

I don't know if this can be done with access but what I would like to do is create a form that displays all the files that I have in a particular folder like documents or mp3 files and then bring it up in a contiuous form.

Is that possible with access or do I have to type in manually in to a table all the names of the files and then link them.

Please let me know if this is possible or if this can not be done thankyou.

Hey guys:

I am not clear here at all on this, but let me tell you what I am trying to do and see if you can help. Ok I have a table named "Search" and in that table I have a field named "Temp". Now I also have a form named "Search" and it is bound to the table "Search" - in that form I have a unbound listbox named "MyListBox" and a unbound text box named "Search" and a bound text box named "Temp" and a unbound Command Button name "cmdSearch".

What I would like to do is enter a value in the Search txt box and click the search button and have it search all my files located at "D:\Collections\_Filing Cabnet\" for word or phrase. and display the results in the MyListBox. After it has displayed the results I would like to be able to click on any file and have it be opened. Can this be done?

Sincerely,

Charles
