If so, you can stop the processes by doing this: Start>Run> drwtsn32 -p 1952 OK Start>Run> drwtsn32 -p 684 OK Exit (Close) BKUPEXEC Then Stop and Start all BKUPEXEC Services in Computer Management. I am assuming you are using W2K of course. "Scientists have proven that living actually causes death." Upvote 0 Downvote

Jan 20, 2004 #3 ConfUser Technical User Jan 20, 2004 1 US Hello I had the same sort of problem a while ago and I somehow wound up, in NT 4.0 sp 6, getting it to quit. . . However, now I get a "bewin32 - Start Catalog Failed: Unknown error 0x1" and the Backup Exec software won't open. Backup Exec Scheduler has no issue, but bewin32.exe is kaput. Tried uninstall and reinstall, but no good. ANY IDEAS. Upvote 0 Downvote
