Periodically, when I scroll up or down with the scroll bar my computer freezes. I have to hard-boot. The only thing I can do to prevent is click the up and down arrows to move one line at a time--not the best when creating a lengthy web page. This is especially vulnerable if I use the scroll button on the mouse.

I use HomeSite 5.0, on a Pentium 4 computer on Windows98, 128mb Ram, Flat-screen monitor with 32MB, and Intellimouse. Any one of these could be the culprit.

I have seen similar messages in the homesite forum. Apparently there is a bug in HomeSite. None of the suggestions others have tried have worked for me.

Anyone else with similar problem?

the only time i have seen this (or similar quirkiness) is when working remotely, either a server on the lan or on the web. if the server response time is slow, i notice similar problems. never seen it working locally though.
