Scroll pane not working properly, doesn't load content

Hi, i have a problem with a scrollpane. The code itself is based on pixl8r's portfolio .fla

What happens is that it doesnt show up in the scrollpane.

^^ they are the .fla and the .xml it uses.

As I recall in the example the scroll pane and the xml connectors were in seperate movies (2 different swf's). I can't lay my hands on the example right now, but I seem to remember that you had to do it that way for it to work correctly. As it is your movie is executing the trigger for the connector but is not successfully evaluating the dataset "afterLoaded" event (so it never proceeds past that). Try using the seperate (loader) movie. NOTE: You have to have everything in the library of the first movie (xmlConnector, dataset, everything...)

I will see if I can find that example, but in the meantime I hope it helps.

i used the code in this zip to help me. It doesn't have seperate swfs

That example doesn't use the scrollpane (even though there is one in the libarary). Here is one that does.

Using the _lockroot property on the porfolio clip will prevent your having to add all of the components and referencees to the "loader" swf.
