We have a rep who is having a strange problem with his laptop. Approx. 2-3 times a week, the scroll function in office, IE etc stops. He was never able to recreate the problem for us but happened to be in the office today and the problem occured again. The only way we have found to get it working again is to save the work and restart the laptop. Since the problem is not specific to any application, im slightly thrown by this. The laptop he is using is an IBM Thinkpad, 1.6 Centrino, 256 Ram, XP Pro SP2.
Has anyone else come across this or could anyone shed some light on the issue?
