I've converted a form into an access web page, which runs ok except for a problem with a memo field. I'm trying to make the field read only, but the user still needs to be able to scroll through the field.

Does anyone know which property controlls the availability of this item. Cheers s-)

Alrite mate

In properties goto Scroll Bars and select the option you want ie horizontal, vertical. Sounds like you will want vertical. To stop the user from entering data in the field once again right click and goto the Locked property and select yes. This will stop anyone entering any data.

Cheers
Colin

Hope it of help

Thanks for the reply.

Unless I'm missing something I can't see an option for a scroll bar within the field property for the web page - apart from what colour I wish to choose. I know how to select the property when designing a form, just can't find it for a web page.

Any more suggestions? Cheers s-)
