Script works on one drive but not another

Can anybody identify a reason why the exact same script would work on one drive, but (sometimes) not on another?

I have a script that works fine on my remote PC's local drive, and usually works when I back it up to my company's network drive, but in a couple of cases it quit working after being backed up to the network.

Are you saying it doesn't work from a network share? IOW, it works when you run something like c:\directory\myscript.html but doesn't work when you run \\server\share\myscript.html? Perhaps you could share the script with us...
