Hi, I want to burn a copy of my website onto a cd to send out + I was hoping to find some manner of script that will start up the users browser + load the index page in a new window that has no browser interface visible.
I know that JS might not be what I'm looking for but maybe you could point me to where I should look? many thanks, Mel

========================>>>

The Business Card CD tutorial on this site is a very popular tutorial. The tutorial talk about creating exe files of Flash/Swish presentations and packaging them in Business Card CDs. In this tutorial we will see how we can package a complete html site into a Business Card CD. The process is as simple as the original tutorial.

Make sure all your site files are located in the site root directory and the rescpective subdirectories. Make sure your index.html or default.html is located in the root directory.
In the site root directory, we will make an MS DOS batch file called go.bat. Open Notepad or your favorite text editor and create a file with the following content:

start index.html

Save this file in your root directory as go.bat
Now we will create the autorun.inf file for the CD. If the user has autoplay enabled, this will automatically launch your site when the CD is loaded. Open Notepad or your favorite text editor and create a file with the following contents:
[autorun]
OPEN=go.bat

Save this file as autorun.inf again in your site root folder
Burn your CD with go.bat, autorun.inf, index.html in the root of the CD and all other site files and folder
