Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post on. If not, let me know and I'll move it.

What we have is a server running Windows 2000 with the Novell Client (4.83 SP1) installed that is used to connect to a Netware File Server. Also, we have ColdFusion installed that runs under a local Windows account. My question is, is it possible to create a script that will login using a Novell account, read, and transfer files from the Netware File Server (because the local Windows account can not see the netware server). Thank you for any help.

With NFAP you can make the novell server appear to be a Windows File Share from the perspective of the Windows machine. You may also be able to run FTP server on the Novell box and use it that way.

Just a couple of options to suggest, let us know how you resove it.

Well, the problem that were having is the people running the Novell server are not willing to work with me (like running FTP services), so I was looking for a way to login as a Novell account, so they would not be able to tell a difference between my local ColdFusion account and a normal novell login. I am not even sure if this is possible without persuading those running the Novell server to help us, but I thought I would ask. If anyone else has any ideas, let me know.

You can use the good old "NET USE" command to establish your authentication. The only draw back is the password of the userid you are using is visible in the CMD file. UNC or DMO is recommended.
