screen saver password

In display properties,checking the password box (screen saver tab) and clicking 'change', and selecting and verifying a password, does not activate the intended function.

I assume that I am supposed to get a password prompt before the screen saver is disabled. Any suggestions are appreciated as to why this may not be working.

I've had this same problem before. Try changing the screen saver, then change the password again. It worked for me, but doesn't work in every situation...

Hi cdogg, thx for that info. Standard s savers did work, but I overlooked the fact that webshots had it's own settings for password. thx for the reply.
