Resolution on an NT server got changed to 1600 by 1200 pixels, and now when it starts up the screen simply flashes grey and black. Running it in vga mode yields the same results. I tried to run from an NT boot disk made on another computer, but it is still flashing. How can this be corrected?

The hard way is to set a working machine next to it and mimic the key strokes on the broken one to go in and readjust the resolution. I've actually done this before. The easy way is just to reinstall the OS. Something that might work would be to remove the video card and put in a different one. NT should go back to the default vga drivers for a new\different video card. Good luck

I already tried the keystroke solution, but didn't have any luck with that. I'll have to play around with the others. Thanks.

Installing a new video card worked. The original one was on the motherboard, and now it doesn't display anything, not even in startup, so i'm just running off of the new one.
