SCN Hunt Groups

I have 2 IPOs at 3.2.65 on SCN and VMpro answers all calls.
Cust wants to have only one main menu and when the caller selects and option...ie Hunt Group "Sales", for it to ring both Sales hunt groups at each location at the same time.
I tried shortcodes from a phantom ext in that Main Sales grp but it will not fwd that way.....I know I can use the "overflow", but the cust wants both to ring.
Can this be done?

No this can't be done, in later firmware versions you can have a single group with both systems users in, then it works, but I am guessing you are on 3.2 for a reason

Thanx......that's what I thought about a newer version...yes, it is at 3.2 because one IPO is a damn 403module.
I would have to change it to a 406.........do you remember which version allows all users in either Huntgrps?

in 4.0,4.1 and 4.2 this was advanced networking and needed a license. after 5.0 it was included for free.

Indeed, my next piece of advice was going to be go to R5, to avoid silly licences and get the best features etc

Yep, that's what I thought.........thanks for the input.
I'll see what the cust wants to do.......I will prob just set up overflows from one location to the other....just will not ring at the same time.

did you try internally twinning the virtual users to the real users on the other switch?

HSM it could work but Avaya blocked that in later versions.
But I think it will work on 3.2

have not tried that........thought twinning was a lic. feature on 3.2

Mobile twinning was licenced, not internal. It will come down to if the system thinks the SCN extn is internal or not
