I think this is probably a dumb/novice question but here it goes: Just setup an SCN between our two offices today, works great, no issues. However I get the following Configuration Alert for both sites:

"There is a conflict with Small Community network dial plan numbers received from x.x.x.x."
Occurrences: 1

I've looked through users, hunt groups, extensions and can't find anything that's conflicting. In a desperate attempt to resolve it I even changed the IP line's # on each side so they were different... no change, IPO still bitches.

Where do I find the "conflict" the IPO's complaining about?

Thanks!

Mike

I did find that in Lines > PRI Line > Channels Tab the Line Appearances for each PRI on either side is the same. Is this the issue?

Drawing at straws...

fire up system status, there should be an alarm for it in there, it might tell you what the conflict is.

ignore me. i clearly cant read.

how big are the sites?

could it be possible you missed something whilst looking?

you could export the users and groups to a csv. it might make searching for a duplicate easier.

You can sort on username and extension in System Status. There is a user/hunt group or extension that is duplicated.

Lines don't matter.

What version of software are you running. If you select the "tile" that displays the error list, that might help. It's the icon beneath help in the top task bar. It's a triangle with an ! in it.

another thing. Everything has (should be)to be unique in the dial plan.

For the record the error pane of Manager doesn't mention the error or it's cause.. and System Status just tells you there's a problem.

Yep, there was a duplicate put in by my vendor called "DialupExtn". You'd think they would have made it unique considering we were going to link the sites together soon. I prefixed the names with a location acronym and voila, solved. Tom's suggestion to export to CSV and examine in Excel was very helpful.

Duh. Sorry to waste everyone's time with massive amounts of stupidity on my part. :(

better to check it out, than let it cause problems later down the line.

This is how SSA can help:

If you have configuration alarm in SSA goto to:
resources -> Directory.
At the bottom there is a button that is normaly (with no configuration alarms raised) greyed out and is called 'conflicts'.
This will show the numbers causing the alarm.
