Am looking for a way to have our server do a scheduled reboot everynight at 10:30.

Does anyone know what the syntax is for this?

Thanks I'll take a look at that now.

Actually have two servers win2000 and one win2003 which need rebooted on a nighly bases.

itasueb,
per the thread - will work w/ w2k - not sure sbout w2003 - you'll have to check.
you could also get a nifty program called automate
i've used this program for many different automation functions / projects.
regards,
longhair

We just have a simple batchfile with a reboot command, then have it in the task scheduler to run weekly.

Sorry I haven't been in the office for a week.

lb63640 what is the batchfile you use. That's what use to do our reboot before the guy before be left. He deleted the file when he left. just need to recreate.

thanks
sue
