Does anyone know how to schedule a busy and release on a trunk group. We are having a issue with a trunk group connected to a conference bridge where busy and releasing the group nightly would fix the problem. Any help?
You could try to do it with ASA but personally I would dial into the switch and do it remotley. I like to know that something I busied out came back up before I get to work and their is no service.
Hell, there are no rules here - we're trying to accomplish something.

mikeydidit is on the right track. Thats how I would do it too.
Alternatively if you insist on automating it I would use ASA to schedule the commands and then schedule a report afterware to status the trunk and then email the results of that report to my pager/email.
in asa when you run a report one of the options is to "send report output to email address'.
Thanks. It's okay actually if it doesn't come back up until I come in because we are redundant on this trunk group. The problem we are having is that when someone dials into the conference bridge with a polycom, then hang up and call in again have just started a transfer with the switch hook flash. Once the hang up at the end of their conference, what they have just done is completed the transfer they started at the beginning of the meeting. Since it is only two trunk of the group conferenced together no on knows until the next time they dial into their conference and then what they get is feedback. Eliminated the ability to do the switch hook flash is not an option. So I though if I could schedule the trunk group to busy and release on a nightly basic this would eliminate most of these occurrences.
