I have a workstation with Win 2000 that I use to make tape backups of certain network drives. I was the first one in the office this morning and realized the workstation was logged off. According to the scheduled tasks menu the backup took place last night as it was supposed to. I confirmed that in the NTBackup reports. My question is will scheduled tasks take place if the workstation is logged off? Or are there other forces at work?

In the properties of Scheduled Task, setup a "Run As" account.
