Schedule Firmware updates on Option 11C

HI All, I can't find any documentation on how to schedule a Friware Update on a specific group of TN's. We have several sites and don't want them to all update at once because the older M3904's sometimes get fried after a firmware update.

They are scheduled in LD 97 and started in ld 32.

One more question then...What happens if the new softkeys only show up on some of the phones?
Is there a universal template change that can be made in OTM to push the new softkeys down to all of the phones?

If a key doesnt show up, did you try manually flashing that set?

Which softkeys are you referring too?

Also, you do not have to do a search for FAQ's, you can find those by clicking the menu bar above the threads - I think there is only one page of them.

I have manually flashed the phone and a few soft keys DO show up such as CONF TRANS PARK, but then with the new firmware there is MORE... PrivRls and Charge which do not show up on all of the phones

You do know that those keys are layered right? Different keys show up onhook/off hook/ on a call. No insult meant if you were already aware....

Uh, yeah - if the call weren't on hook, we wouldn't see Conf, Trans or Park either - none of those particular softkeys would show

In the options on the set did you do a restore all feature keys option

That just over writes the keys 0-5 [shift, too]
Not the soft keys

One last thing, then I surrender (yea for you) What software version are you on?

Rel 24.24 uses BA or BB vintage phones
FB or later requires 25.30 or higher affecting certain key implimentations.

I plugged in a brand new phone, flashed it and still no new soft keys...
