I'm trying to create a new phone with a new DID i ordered from the phone company and I'm receiving this error: SCH0375) DN type conflicts with input DN type.

I saw a similar post regarding this error where someone suggested:
LD 11
prt
TYPE: LUDN
Cust: 0
enter the first 2 numbers of the dn which i did and this is what i receive:
DN 22

CUSTOMER 00 - UNUSED DNS:
221 222 2230 2231 2232 2233 2234 2236 2237 2239
224 225 226 227 2280 2281 2282 2284 2285 2287
2288 2289 229

I'm trying to program DID # 2206. So how do i found out what is using it? It's not a ACD number, i already checked that and when i dial the 2206 i just receive the fast busy signal. Thanks!

Find it like this:

LD 20
REQ PRT
TYPE DNB
CUST 0
DN 220

I printed the dnb and found out it's a park #, how do i change this so it's not being used at park #'s?

thanks!

LD 50
REQ chg
TYPE cpk
Cust 0
SPDN 10 2200

SPDN the 10 means number of park DNs ath 2200 is the first DN of the range

well my new did's are from 2206 thru 2209. from what i understand from the spdn 10 does that mean it will use 2200 thru 2210? any way to change it to say 2210's instead? is this done thru load 50? I'm not realy sure how call parking works to begin with. I don't think anyone here uses it anymore.

you can enter the ammount of DNs you use now or want to use but they have to be consecutive. Print in LdD 50 and see how many you are using now

thanks so much for your help! i was able to change our call parking to use dns 2210 and used 10 of them, which is what we were using up.

You are most welcome, this is a great place to come for assistance!!

Be aware you don't need to have any Park DNs in the system. Even when SPDN = 0 you can still Park - you just dial the extension of the person you are parking for and then tell them "the call is parked on your number"

You can Park to any number you want.
