I have recently upgraded a NT server to 2003 all is fine except for the tape backup. Has anyone had a problem. I installed the XP drivers an all seems ok but echo that comes with onstream does not install on 2003. I will but what ever I need but what product is known to work with sc30 and windows 2003 server standard?

Thanks

I have and it is being recognized I think.
What software is known to work with this setup?

To check to see if it is being recognized, go into the Device Manager, and look for an entry that says "Tape Drives". You should be able to expand that, and see a device labelled "Onstream ADR Series". If you see this, Windows can see the drive.

Software-wise, you may want to just use the Echo 1safe backup software, which can be found here:

Ack: I just noticed you had mentioned its Server 2003 that you are using, on which Echo 1safe MIGHT not work... You Can use NTBACKUP to backup to the drive (It will be seen as a MiniQIC tape), or you can use Yosemite Tapeware, which can be found Here:
