I have a Small Business Server 2003 that I just installed with it's built in 5 CALS. I was able to install an additional 5 CALS to the server through the MMC Licence console. I have 2 additional 5 Packs that I am trying to install into the server so I can have a total of 20 CALS altogether. Unfortunately when I try to install the CALS it keeps failing. When I look into the EVENT LOGS I see this error message "EVENT IN: 1019, Source SBCore, Description: Activation of this client access license code via the internet did not succeed (Error code 0x8007b024), These are all legal CALS that were purchased and when I got this error I called up Microsoft to see if they can have me manually enter in the codes via PHONE instead and they asked me to purchase a Technical Support pack to resolve this problem which I think is wrong since their licence pack is not installing as per the correct method I am using.
Has anyone ever experienced this exact problem? If so can someone help me out, I also googled this problem and I was unable to find any hits on this issue. If I am able to get this to work I will update this posting and will let in on the secret as to what to do to resolve this problem.
