Hi,

I am deploying a SBC + EMS in one box virtual appliance .
When deploying , in the set up form I wrote :
Type; SBC +EMS in one machine
Type of EMS (none/primary/secondary): none

management IP address: one in the lan, with correct netmask and gateway.
DNS: the DNS server Ip in the domain.

Password: the same to all users.

Once the VM is created, I changed the number of sockets from 3 to 4. Because 3 is invalid in my 5.5 ESXi.

power on the machine and I check IP configuration. I can ping the gateway, IPO and apps server.

From a windows in the LAN I ping the ASBCE and it responds.

Try to accès from chrome to and I get an error: connection is refused.

Any suggestion ?

Thnks in advanced !

I have repeated the deployment setting SBC+EMS "primary".

But when I try to acces to the web management ( ) I get "connection refused".

Is there any "ignition" to do before being able to accès via web?

By other hand I only have 2 network interfaces.

You need to have at least 3 network interfaces.

Ok, I can add more vNICs, but I don't understand why i can not accès via web for configuring

Reading the manual it seems that after installation , at tehe first boot, it perform a setup and the "ignition".

But the configuration (sbc, ems or both, none primary or secondary, network configuration) is asked before the deployment. When finished, we power on the machine and boot .
And not posible to access by web.

Really I don't know what to do

have you tried this before installing the SBC:

What release of SBC and is it compatible with 5.5 esxi?

and are you installing from vcenter or just on a esxi host?

IIRC, Small SBC isn't supported on 7.2.2

There's a support article that says it doesn't support choosing profile 'small' when deploying the VM even though it gives you the option. You've got to pick Medium.

Don't ask me why they put options in the deployment that you can fall into a black hole with, but there is one there, and for your version, so I thought it'd be worth mentioning to ya :)

I've seen it for SBC 8.0.

There you are asked, if you want to install it as EMS or SBC (or both) resulting in different hardware configuration (CPU, memory and NICs).

Sounds like it could be similar...

Nevertheless... Even if it is EMS only (or small), it should open the EMS page.

I had it once and did the deployment again without the configuration of the OVF preferences. Doing this the initial setup wizard ran within the VMware console window and it worked.

- Instalation from vcenter.

I'll try to install again as derfloh says and I'll inform .

Thamks !!!
