I have a form letter in Word that uses the output from an access query. This is a repetitive operation on a daily basis. The user provides input for the query and the results are written into a RFT format. Word is then called and executes a merge of the data.

Question, how do you save the results to the same file name without the user having to respond ok to the "Output To" box and respond to the replace the existing file question?

I would do it slightly different
Leave out the RTF part
See my FAQ:
<A HREF=" TARGET="_new">
DougP
dposton@universal1.com

Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.

Thanks for the info. I'm actually trying to this behind the scenes for the user rather than a command button. Will play with your code from the FAQ to see what I can do.
