I inherited a database that has jpg's imported into a table.... and I was wondering if there was a way to "export" the images back out of the database, creating jpgs again... since the original jpgs are no longer available....

I have a question to start with.. how did you import jpg's into a table? I assume you're talking about the JPEG picture format..

I don't know.

I inherited the database as it is right now... with the images already in the database... from what little I got from the previous owner/developer (who is a beginner), they were jpg's that were imported into the database.

The database is now too big to email... it only has about 60 records, 2 tables, and 1 form...

I'm trying to get it down to a managable size, without losing the images.

I hope there is a way to save the images back to files. If I have to, I'll save them as bitmaps, then convert them back to jpgs.

Any help would be great!

Thanks... but that just shows how to view the image once it is in the table....

I want to be able to save, or export, the image back to being a standalone file that can be viewed by any other program.

As it stands, these images can only be viewed in the database (btw... it's an MS Access 2000 database)... I want to be able to put them on the web (I dont' have asp authorization).

Any help would be great!

Sorry.. maybe someone else will know, that's about the best I know to do for now (try searching through Google, and try searching here.. there were a few matches when I searched, that was just the one thread I actually pulled up.
