Hi,

I've just migrated from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003 (1BE + 1FE). Users are complaining that they cannot now save emails from OWA to their local drive / network share (they previously used OWA on Exch5.5 and need to save all emails relating to particular projects in the projects folder). I've had a look at it and it seems that the only way to do it would be to print the email to a file which I don't really fancy explaining.
Anyone ever done this in OWA 2003?

Thanks,

S

Ok, I've found a way to do it:

Login to OWA using Basic Mode, Open an email and then click on the "View as a Web Page" link to the right of the subject. This can now be saved like every other web page.

This is really annoying however and I don't think the users will like it.

anybody have other ideas?

I think user-education is in order here.
Let them create project folders on the Server (Public Folders is sharing is needed), that way the Exchange Server is used what it is designed for, a Collaboration solution.

At some point, wether they like it or not, things WILL change, and you could (should) take advantage of that fact right now.
