Using SaveFileDialog with OverwritePrompt property turned on.

When the overwrite prompt asks the user if they wish to replace the existing file, the default button is "Yes".
That is not standard/desired behavior. How do you change the default overwrite prompt button to "No"?

The overwrite prompt does default to No (at least it does with VB 2008).

Not on my machine. I'm using Microsoft Visual Basic 2008, 3.5 .Net Framework.

Any idea what could cause the difference in behavior between our machines?

Thanks,

The machine I'm using has Vista Home Premium + VB 2008 (3.5 Framework) - I also get the same results on Vista Ultimate (same VB spec), but I've not tried XP.

As we are both using the same control, and the Overwrite option is a Boolean property of that control and the Overwrite dialog box is not generated by us - but is automatically generated by the control when the user selects a filename that already exists, I can't see how or why it would display differently for us.

This at least gives me a general sense that the problem is unique. I'll report back after I test deployment to other machines.
